Today I will be sharing my usual haiku, and Jack and I will be giving you our official product review of Orijen Cat Treats.

Here is a photo from my kitten archives and an appropriate haiku for today’s post.

Where are they?

The cupboard is bare.

Those bits of kitty ambrosia,

Where did you hide them?

~Buffy~

A few weeks ago we agreed to do our first product review. We chose a new product called Orijen Cat Treats.

MADE WITH 100% NATURAL MEATS, POULTRY OR FISH (AND NOTHING ELSE!), ALL GENTLY FREEZE DRIED TO LOCK IN THEIR GOODNESS, ORIJEN TREATS OFFER A TASTE EXPERIENCE YOUR CAT WILL TRULY LOVE.

We were skeptical because we really like the treats Mom gets us from the grocery store. But since we were getting them free and all we had to do was write an honest product review we decided to do it.

We were sent the original flavor. When they came, Mom gave us each about six of them. After the first sniff, I think it took us six seconds to devour them. You should have seen Jack begging for more. Luckily she gave us a few more as dessert. Then she didn’t feed us any more for a few days… I guess she couldn’t believe we liked them so much. Honestly? They’re better than catnip without the side effects (zoomies then snoring).

When Mom fed us them again, Jack actually stood on his hind legs reaching for more… I didn’t embarrass myself that way, but I was sad when she put them away.  More time went by … was she torturing us? And finally yesterday she gave us some more. It was like heaven… she even gave us a second helping and then one more little handful. I was flabbergasted when Jack tried to steal one of mine. I even illustrated it with pictures since Mom didn’t video it.

product reviewYou can bet Jack won’t steal my cat treats again! I’ll be ready for him.

Mom is really happy at the quality of the treats and the ingredients. She checked them out on the Origen site.

OUR CAGE-FREE CHICKEN AND TURKEY AND WILD-CAUGHT FLOUNDER ARE SUSTAINABLY RAISED OR FISHED WITHIN OUR REGION BY PEOPLE WE KNOW AND TRUST, APPROVED ‘FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION,’ AND THEN DELIVERED TO OUR KITCHENS FRESH EACH DAY.

She also likes that the treats are reasonably priced at Chewy.com. All we know is we love them and wouldn’t mind if she decided to get us some of Origen’s cat food too, I bet that’s delicious!

That’s our product review of the Origen Cat Treats. All you cat friends out there, we recommend you TRY THEM! (P.S. Origen has dog treats too.)

We’re joining Ruckus the Eskie and Love is Being Owned by a Husky this week on the first ever Thoughtless Thursday blog hop. Just because we are joining that hop does NOT mean we are thoughtless. It means we are zen cats and wipe our minds of useless clutter. 😀

  1. HHAHAHAH I love that disclaimer at the end. You are not thoughtless but you are de-cluttering! Very creative post with a comic book feel. Do those goods make the zoomies an faster? Thanks for linking up to Thoughtless Thursday my friends! Cannot wait to see what you have in store for next week.

    • Thank you Ruckus! Mom got a Comic Book program and now has to do comics all over the place!

    • It’s actually a program for the computer called ComicLife2. Mom actually spent money on it since she thinks we’re pretty funny and need to have our own comics… Time will tell! 😉

  2. Buffy, we wanna know where all the treats went too!

We’ve been hearing good things about those Orijen treats. We gotta try them!

    • Mom’s almost out of the treat bag we were sent… so we have to find her credit card…

  3. Wow! Great review, you did a wonderful job!

    • Our pleasure for joining your awesome blog hop. And thank you very much for liking our review!

  4. The part about being zen cats is great, also very creative to include a cartoon in the review.

  5. Great review! I have a cat that is super fussy when it comes to food and treats. While I have found her favorite food, I have yet to find treats that she won’t let the other cats steal and eat. I may have to give these a try.

    • I’m a slow eater and if she is too, you may have to watch her with her faster cat family members. Luckily Jack is restraining himself and not taking any more of mine after he scarfs his down. ~Buffy
