Cooper here… I am sorry to report that Jack has outdone himself and has declared that he is now an entrepreneur. To be more specific, a catrepreneur. It happened this weekend and is certainly mischief enough to report it here on Monday Mischief.

What did that entrepreneur of a cat do? He launched a line of products using ME as a model. He assures me that he and Buffy will also have their faces on products, but that he was too busy being the boss to model. Jack got the idea from the meme in our Comic Tuesday post last week (here). The comments he got that we could get rich selling motivational images went right to his head. Since Mom is an artist and has her own gallery and product lines, Jack somehow conned her into giving him space on her Zazzle site (he called it negotiating – there was a lot of purring involved).

Check out this ‘inspirational’ picture of me he has plastered all over mugs and T-shirts.

entrepreneurHonestly?  I think it’s pretty hypocritical of him talking so nicely about me when he is the bane of my existence, but what’s a dog to do?  Entrepreneur? Really?

The only thing that might be a plus in this whole misguided effort is what he says in ‘our’ catch phrase:

At Two Cats and a Cattledog we believe motivational images should be lively and fun. We want our humans to be happy so they will give us more treats.

Treats ARE good, and perhaps our images will make other humans happy and so they will give their pets more treats. But I’m sure you will agree with me that:

Cat plus Entrepreneur equals Trouble!

  1. Cats are never up to any good. Cooper, you should push them out of the way and take over that business yourself.

    • Thanks Bongo for the advice! Luckily Jack is finally putting his own mug on the mugs so to speak. I’ll let him deal with the headaches of higher finance!

    • I appreciate that Snoopy! I hope to be a cat-trillionaire in 5 years. I wonder if Mom would get me some Donald Trump books to sleep on.
